Sardinia's luxury tier is concentrated in the Costa Smeralda — Cala di Volpe (Four Seasons), Pitrizza, and Romazzino are the storied properties. The Aga Khan developed this coastline in the 1960s specifically for yacht-and-beach luxury; that intent is still legible. Porto Cervo is the social hub and yachting base. Outside high season (July–August), prices halve and the beaches are yours.
