Positano is the most photographed village on the Amalfi Coast — all vertical, pastel-coloured, clinging to the cliff. Le Sirenuse is the singular property and one of the most celebrated hotels in Europe; Il San Pietro di Positano for slightly more seclusion. The town is genuinely small; two nights is enough unless you're using it as a base for boat trips to Capri, the Blue Grotto, and Li Galli Islands.

We did a couple days and were fine with it. (Belmond is best, palazzo avino is fine) Did a bulk of our time in Praiano (~positano).

Como

Personally not sure if you’ve done Como but that could be a possibility; great properties and pretty good restaurants and shopping options much better than Positano.
