Destination guides for the FatFIRE traveller

Where to go, and what it actually costs.

Practical guides — geography, getting there, when to go — paired with what the r/fattravel community actually experienced once they got there. People spending $10k–$100k+ per trip, sharing what happened, good and bad. Dated, specific, and honest about what didn't work.

Two layers, kept separate, both disclosed.

The guide layer

Geography, getting there, neighborhoods, when to go, entry requirements. Factual and orienting — background research, not opinion. Where AI is used, it's confined to this layer and disclosed as such.

The community verdict

What r/fattravel actually said, compiled from real trip reports. Quotes are verbatim — nothing paraphrased, nothing generated. Every brief shows the post and comment counts it came from so you can judge the signal strength yourself.

What makes it different

Everything is dated — "April 2026", not "recently." Honest negatives are included on every brief. Featured properties aren't there because of a commercial relationship. Affiliate links, where they exist, are disclosed inline.
